DAY 1 - ARRIVAL TO MUNICH
Welcome to Germany! Your guide will greet you at the airport in Munich and take you to the hotel for your first night before the tour. Depending on your arrival time, you could choose to take some rest and/or take a tour around the city and visit its numerous interesting sights or simply enjoy an excellent beer or some of typical German specialties like sausages with cabbage or the
famous schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) with a cold beer. Get ready for amazing and exciting days that will follow!
DAY 2 - MUNICH – RANKWEIL
We will leave Munich in the morning after breakfast and after a short briefing about the tour and about riding in the Alps, riding in a group, keeping distance, mastering tight turns, etc. We will be heading towards the Swiss Alps, passing over the famous Silvretta Strasse, one of the most beautiful high Alpine roads with its 34 hairpin bends and some stunning views of the Alps and
the lakes. We will introduce to you some of the best gems that the Alps can offer! Welcome to the Alps!
DAY 3 - RANKWEIL – ANDERMATT
An exciting day ahead of us! Heading towards Switzerland and the famous Furka pass, Sussten and Grimsel passes. Did you know that this was one of the James Bond movie locations? At the altitude of 2429m, with its thrilling 58 kilometres, passing near the lakes and right above the breath taking high-altitude dam, this pass, together with Grimsel pass and Susten pass, will
surely warm up your soul.
Day 4 - ANDERMATT, ACROSS FUKRA, SUSSTEN, GRIMSEL PASSES TO LIVINGO
This day is dedicated to some of the most beautiful Alpine passes (Furka,Sussten, Grimsel) that will take your breath away and make sure you enjoy this amazing ride. We will be riding the Brenino and Spluga passes and drive through the famous St. Moritz, reaching Livigno late in the afternoon. We will spend a night in the beautiful city of Livigno where you could stay in the hotel
and enjoy the spa or have a walk in the surroundings and do some sightseeing.
DAY 5 - LIVIGNO REST DAY
We will take a break in the lovely city of Livigno where you will decide whether to simply rest in the hotel and enjoy the spa or take a walk around the city and go shopping since Livigno enjoys a special tax status as a duty-free area. The Italian VAT (value added tax) is not included in the prices here, so you can use this opportunity to do some shopping at excellent prices.
DAY 6 - MERANO – PASSO ROLLE, PASSO FALZAREGO ARABBA,PASSO GARDENA
Today we are entering the magical Italian Dolomites! This will be a marvellous ride towards Val Gardena, enjoying breath taking scenic views of Dolomites entering Passo Gardena, overnight stay in the amazing place at the top of the Gardena pass, surrounded by the Dolomites, beautiful sunsets and night skies filled with stars. These mountains are the true gems of nature and one of the UNESCO World Heritage sights. Did you know that the Dolomites are a formations of living organisms: fossilized coral reefs dating from the ancient oceans from 250 mil years ago? Now, let’s see them from up close! The tour takes us along some amazingly pleasant roads passing between and around the rocky formations, and right through the several world-famous passes
and must-see locations for every bike rider.
DAY 7 - PASSO GARDENA – GROSSGLOCKNER – ZELL AM SEE
We will be leaving the area of the Dolomites by passing over some of the WWI heritage sites of Passo Falzarego and Passo Pordoi (here we can take a break and visit the WWI museum in the middle of the Dolomites, where some of the toughest battles took place). We will continue riding towards Austria and the famous Grossglockner. The well-known scenic Grossglockner high
Alpine road, with the highest peak of the Austrian Alps (the altitude of the Grossglockner top is 3798 m) and with the Pasterze glacier, this road is reaching the altitude of 2504 m through 48 km of an amazing ride. This is truly one of the world’s best motorcycle routes! We will stop at the glacier for a break, take photos and enjoy the view of this magnificent mountain peak. We will be heading back towards Germany and reach Zell am See in late afternoon.
DAY 8 - ZELL AM SEE – MUNICH
In the morning we will leave Zell am See and continue towards Germany passing through the Berchtesgaden National Park where we can organize a visit to the Kehlsteinhaus (better known as the Eagle’s Nest), Adolf Hitler’s infamous residence or the salt mine also located nearby this beautiful nature park. After lunch, we will be heading towards Munich, where we will book into our hotel and enjoy our farewell dinner. We will surely have some good time recalling our amazing journey over some cold weissbeer and haxe, and make plans for our next tour together :)
DAY 9 - MUNICH DEPARTURE
Here is where we say goodbye until our next journey together! We sincerely hope you have enjoyed this tour with us and we are looking forward to greet you in any one of our oncoming tours. If you have an afternoon or evening flight, you can have a walk around the Old Town, do some sightseeing and enjoy the tastes of the local cuisine before you leave. We will take care of
your transfer to the airport.
